Year 9 Options
Year 9 Options Process
The process which supports Year 9 students to make informed decisions about their GCSE Options is outlined in the table below. It is very important students, and their families attend the Options Evening on Thursday 23rd April primarily to gather information about option subjects and ask specific questions, but also to collect the Options Form to complete. The evening is designed to help you support your child/ren in making these important choices.
Three important factors which will be considered when students have selected their preferences and groups are being created will be their behaviour, attendance and Knowledge Organiser/Home Learning record. Preferences are accommodated as much as possible, but adjustments will be made by the college where necessary.
