Student Reviews

‘Vermonia’ by Lilly Y7

This was a great book (I would say 4.5 stars) because the story was filled with lots of plot twists leaving me very curious and wanting to read the next one in the series.  It is about a girl called Naomi who has a warrior spirit which is the red phoenix.  There are lots of mythical creatures in this book. Naomi and her two friends are trying to save a girl called Mel.  This book is like no other that I have read!

‘The Universe - Jupiter’ by Isaac Y8

This is a non-fiction book all about the planet Jupiter.  I would rate it 5 stars because I became much more knowledgeable about outer space by reading it.  3 facts I have learned are:

-              Jupiter has a magnetic field bigger than itself.

-              It has around 100 moons (one being bigger than the planet Mercury).

-              Solar winds from the Sun flips the magnetic field completely.
